Inaugural post

I've started this blog to capture my thoughts on today's business culture in the U.S. I'm not sure I'll have enough material to justify the blog or attract many readers, but I figure I'll start it and see what happens. I often have difficulty getting started on something, but find that if I just take the plung the 'something' often becomes much more than I'd ever anticipated. And sometimes it just whithers and dies. I don't know whether this blog will be the former or the latter, but if I don't get started I'll never know. So here it goes...
